Chapter 8 I will start from scratch

“Miss Kate I think it's time to have our  meeting then,"one of the board of directors said with a smile as he led the way.

“Sure, just give me a minute," she said and walked over  to where Ethan stood.

They directors looked at each other and decided to leave them.

“Young master are you okay," she asked as she saw that he was not having a happy face.

“I’m good, it’s just that I’m still a little bit overwhelmed,"she said.

Kate walked to him and smiled at him. She could understand how he was feeling.

In less than a day his life has suddenly taken a drastic change making him shocked.

She was  still be surprised if he was to be calm about everything that happened.

“You don’t need to worry about that anymore. Let’s just go and meet them first." she assured and waited for him to lead the way.

Ethan sighed and decided to just get on with it.

As they entered the forum room on the top floor, Kate spoke up.

“Well gentleman, I schedule a meeting with all of you today to talk about something very important. And I would first like to acknowledge the fact that you all came when called. I will make sure to give this news to the chairwoman about how hardworking you all are “ she said.

The board of directors felt very  happy that she was giving them such acknowledgment.

They thought it would be very hard to convince or please  the cold Miss Kate, but as it seems as long as long as one does what is right she would be satisfied with your work then.

Kate then moved aside to make way for Etha to be close to the president's seat.

They all looked at her wondering what she was trying to do.

After all, they didn’t even bother to pay attention to this person who came with her.

They thought he was just one of the people she works  with.

But now….

And soon they found out why.

“I would like you all to meet the heir  of the Williow empire. The only grandson and the Chairwoman and your CEO, Mr. Ethan Willow

" she announced as she shows respect to him.

Ethan said nothing with a calm expression sat on the president’s seat.

The directors present all looked at him with jaw-dropper on their faces.

They thought it was just a rumor when they said they have found the young master of the Willow family.

“ He is now going to be the CEO of this plaza

"Kate continued.

Ethan saw that the directors were being a bit skeptical about this. Even he was surprised. He is now the CEO of the biggest company in the city.

But he cannot show signs of weakness now.

He then decided to  speak up 

“I know I’m not supposed to be a CEO but I’m still inexperience as would still need the guidance  of everyone here. Also as a start, I would like to start from scratch as a staff in the business department. It would help me understand things faster

" he proposed.

The directors there were all nodding their heads with praises on their faces.

They all thought  he was going to take over everything as he is now the head of everything.

But as it tuned out he had more insight into things than they thought.

This person has the true qualities of a leader.

With that being said Kate had no other option than allow him to go to HR with the documents she has already prepared for him.

Ethan walked around examining the environment.

He was amazed by what he saw. This company lives up to its name as the most prestigious and biggest company in the city.

He soon arrived at the HR department and knocked on the door.

“Get in already!" he heard an impatient female voice.

“Guess someone is having a bad day," he said as he entered the office.

But he was shocked by what he saw. There sat a woman with her legs crossed playing on her cell phone.

She didn’t even bother to stop or look up  when he entered.

Ethan frowned as he knew she was neglecting her job.

“What do you want?" the woman asked.

He controlled his emotions and decided to  just go with the flow for now.

“I’m here to finish with my ongoing process as a new staff, “ he said while standing.

The woman looked from his head to his toes and sneered.

She frowned as she placed some of her phones and impatiently check her schedule to see if they would be any new staff.

But she found that there was no plan for new staff entry.

“You have the guts to show you in here, right? You might try your fraud work somewhere else but not here."  she said with a smirk look.

She picked up the telephone and was about to call security to take him out.

But then Ethan speaks  up.

“What don’t  you check your email first before deciding on anything .” 

He was very annoyed with her incompetence.

But he tried not to show it as it might give his identity away

The woman paused with what she was about to do and looks at him and asked.

“Are you trying to teach me how to do my work?” she sneered as she asked.

“No, I'm just telling you, it might be better if you would want to first check your email. There might be a  notice," he suggested again,

She felt like he was insulting her and was about to tell him off when she got a call from her underlying HR department.

“Madam, there is a temporary notice for a new staff who would be coming today

”

The woman looked at Ethan with shock. He was indeed joining them today. And he wasn’t  a fraud.
