Vana's POV
The look on Wrath Medona’s eyes changed, a serious expression plastered on his face. “How do you know the name of Igneus’ leader?” he asked, sternly.
“I told you; it was because we met her,” I answered, repeating.
“They are hiding, how did you find them?” Wrath—Mr. Wrath growled.
“By coincidence? Because of a double spy in Igneus who turned out to be a traitor,” I answered, musing. “I’m sure you know who Mr. Archi is. He betrayed Igneus and sided with your enemy.”
Mr. Wrath scoffed, his lips deviously perking up out of disdain. He stepped forward close to his cell, eyeing me a look. He glanced at Storm, who stood at the corner of the room, studying the two of us before he speaks.
“And why should I believe your words? I don’t have any rea
Vana's POV “He’ll need the Amethyst of Darkness,” Mr. Wrath muttered, which made me think of the elements of magic. “But the Amethyst of—” “Vana,” Storm called, cutting my words off as he gives me a warning look. I clamped my mouth shut, covering it with my hand as I realize the mistake I nearly made. Jerome glanced at me with a baffled look, brows knitted. His confusion is understandable. I was not supposed to know anything about the elements of magic. Although it is common knowledge that there are seven elements of magic, not all people know that those elements are once sealed in crystals at one point, and are scattered in different locations of the three dimensional worlds. Now those elements are stored within different weapons as a result of the Dark War. The Elemental Weapons are known to many wizards, but not to the common folk. But the Elemental Crystals is the elements of magic’s history that should not be mentioned lightly. The reason why I know the existence of the Ele
3rd POVWrath lied down on his bed as he listens to the fading screams beyond the door of his isolation room. He is barely curious of the scene beyond the door, uninterested at his fellow prisoners’ rampage. Footsteps reached his ear, followed by the clanging sound of keys, and that made him curious. It was past midnight, but Wrath was unable to put himself to sleep. He has a thought stuck at the back of his head, his meeting with Vana Farasol repeating in his mind. The sound of his room’s door opening startled him, flinching as he sat straight out of his bed. He turned his head to see the person who visited him this late in the night, having a bad feeling deep in his chest. The man stepped inside the room, with his cloak’s hood resting on top of his head. The tower’s patrol commander stood at the wall outside of the room, keeping an eye outside as the cloaked
3rd POV “Vana Farasol and Jerome Gallamon,” he muttered. “Well, isn’t that interesting?” Wrath flinched, his gaze wavering as he makes a fatal mistake. He immediately regretted his decision of giving the Chairman a hint, clucking his tongue. He didn’t know Chairman Zerondale personally know Vana and Jerome, and now because of it, he just ruined everything and turned the tides over to their enemy. “You look like you regretted it,” Chairman Zerondaled chortled. Wrath glared at Chairman Zerondale, gritting his teeth as he despises the Chairman’s presence. He shut his eyes, hissing in frustration and annoyance at himself. He should not have played games with him. Now, the Chairman knows Vana and Jerome are going after him. The Chairman pierced a devious smirk across his face, his eyes full of mischief and coy, stepping back in a few steps as he approaches t
Vana's POV“Why is that every time we have a meeting, our number keeps on increasing,” I grunted as I slump back on my seat, surrounded by the members of the Shadow, in what looks like our version of the round table.Right now, there are six members seated around the table. Storm sat on my right, while Jerome sat on my left. Yuna, Gregory, and Professor Zander sat on the seats across from us.“Shall we hear your report first before ours?” Gregory stated, ignoring my remark. He leaned against the table; elbows propped on top of it.“You have news to tell us or another mission?” Jerome wondered.“Bad news,” Yuna answered, glancing at Jerome with a dreadful look. “We need to here your report before we tell the terrible news we received,”“How bad is it?” Storm grunted.
Vana' POV“Yes, I have, Vana. It’s about Wrath Medona. It’s about the Book of Dragon.”“Wait, what about Wrath Medona?” I asked, quickly forgetting that Gregory hasn’t met Ms. Mera yet.“I’ll say it after you introduce me to the people gathered behind you,” Ms. Mera said, her eyes raising above my head.I frowned, turning around as I find Gregory, Yuna, and Professor Zander standing behind me. I raised a brow at them, wondering why they’re all behind me. I didn’t even notice their presence behind me until Ms. Mera pointed it out.“She’s right,” Gregory said distantly, agreeing with Ms. Mera.I was baffled for a moment, staring at Gregory before I scooted my seat over to the side. I followed Gregory an eye, observing at his interaction with Ms. Mera. I coug
Vana's POVThe city of Scrothia is found south of Ashern, located between the dry deserts on the west and the lush greenery of the east. Most habitable and luscious cities of Ashern are found in the east, with only some residing in the harsh dry and hot climate conditions of the deserts in the west.Scrothia is a city that belongs to both, and the city serves as a boundary and border between the dry lands and the mainlands of Ashern.“The hot weather sure travels all the way inside the city,” Ms. Rosemary commented as we arrive at our lodging for our stay in the city.I’m not gonna lie, it’s definitely hot here. I’ve been sweating profoundly for the last couple of hours that I changed my top from a linen long sleeve to a knitted croptop. Everyone else have also felt the hot temperature and changed into something suitable for the climate.
Vana's POV A handful of wizards surrounded us from all direction, weapons pointed at us as they corner us inside the tower. The team stepped forward to have a talk with us, led by Chairman Zerondale whose staff thudded against the ground. “You’ve been helping Igneus this whole time…” Ms. Rosemary mumbled, glowering at us in disdain. “It’s not what you think it is,” I argued. “You’ve got it all wrong,” Jerome said, denying the accusation. “From the way I see it, we’re not. You are colluding with Igneus, Jerome. You and Vana are working with Igneus. Chairman Zerondale’s assumption turns out to be true,” Ms. Angela stated, convicted as she takes the Chairman’s side. This was his plan all along. To turn us against the team. To bait us out and trap us to make us look like traitors. With that, me and Jerome would become enemies; criminals. Cha
Vana's POV Darkness clouded my vision as my body liquidify within the Shadow Realm. Terror and fear crawled up my skin as my body gets drowned and swallowed. Claws made of shadows gnawed at me, pulling me deeper into the abyss. I screamed, by my voice was lost and inaudible in the hollow space. My stomach coiled as my head struck with nausea from the bizarre transportation, the black space around me consuming me. My eyes looked as if its also playing tricks at me as I kept seeing weird-shaped dark monsters trapped in some-kind of goo slime. Or maybe I was not imagining it and I was being transported from the Land of Shadows. A small hole opened from a distant, a circle of light flashing against my eyes. The bright light blinded my eyes, making it shut as I wait for the it to disappear in front of me. My body was thrown like a ball within the space, and a force pushed me from my back
