Chapter 145: Dilemma

3rd POV

Wrath lied down on his bed as he listens to the fading screams beyond the door of his isolation room. He is barely curious of the scene beyond the door, uninterested at his fellow prisoners’ rampage. Footsteps reached his ear, followed by the clanging sound of keys, and that made him curious.

It was past midnight, but Wrath was unable to put himself to sleep. He has a thought stuck at the back of his head, his meeting with Vana Farasol repeating in his mind.

The sound of his room’s door opening startled him, flinching as he sat straight out of his bed. He turned his head to see the person who visited him this late in the night, having a bad feeling deep in his chest.
