Vana's POV
Jerome and I immediately left our hiding places as Mr. Archi leaves Klein within the secret path. We crossed the road again in swift movements, crouching behind the tall grass and bushes as we conceal ourselves from their sight.
Mr. Archi went back to the direction of the city, walking away until he disappears from our sight. Klein, on the other hand, did not walk through the path where Mr. Archi walked through, staying in the same place they talked to for more than a couple of minutes.
“Why is that guy not leaving?” I wondered, grunting as I peer through the gaps of the grass.
“Maybe that area behind the path leads somewhere,” Jerome said, tilting his head to me.
