An Impostor

"Where on earth did that good-for-nothing go!" Layla hissed for the nth time.

It was a week already and she hadn't seen Adair ever since she blacked out in Kings Hotel. She didn't remember what happened that day other than the fact the family had dinner happily and returned home.

After she woke up in the hospital, Adair had someone compel her to forget most of the things that happened that evening. Leaving only the good memories.

With Adair's absence, a lot of things had been left undone. Things like the cooking, cleaning, overseeing things in the house and a lot more.

Collette had to go to work everyday or cooped herself in her room when she returned. Benjamin on the other hand would stay with Layla and refuse to answer any of her questions regarding what was going on between Collette and Adair.
