Enemies

The car stopped in a remote area which led citizens out of Crest Ville — the country's border. And guarding it were hundreds of men.

Adair got out of the car and surveyed the area. The men who had been standing upright, immediately fell on their knees, heads bent to the ground.

Jordan got out of the car as well, then extended his hand towards Adair. Adair looked down on it only to see a blood bag.

"If I'm not mistaken, you've not had blood for three years which was why you kept seeing the bloody moon." Jordan muttered, his head bent as well.

Adair nodded and took the blood bag. "Thank you."

It took him only five seconds to drain the entire bag. Then he looked down at his soldiers. "Get up."

Their movement was in sync as they got up at the same time, creating a beautiful artwork.

"Have you been doing this for the past three years?" Adair asked Jordan as he strolled closer to the border.
