In Elise's laboratory

Halsey was awake and she was trying her best to reach the blood bag which Elise held in front of her.

"You think she's going to take it?" Kendall asked, walking close to them whilst massaging the side of his neck. He had been sleeping for a long time.

His shoes stepped on something and he glanced down to see blood. "Why is there blood on the floor? Did a human come in?"

"No." Elise shook her head, returning the blood bag to the fridge. "I'm conducting an experiment. I place the blood bag in front of her, the smell gets into her nose and intoxicates her, then she frantically reaches for it and drinks it, but throws out everything as soon as she's done."

"Oh, that explains the blood on the floor. Right." Kendall nodded, looking up at Halsey. "I honestly feel pity for her."

"She's a kid who was turned to a vampire at the wrong time and for the wrong reason. Martha is just heartless." Elise hissed, folding both hands underneath her bosoms.
