The Chosen Six

Entrance

"Mum, mum, mum, I have been given a scholarship by one of the best schools in city Z" Nicholas ran to meet his mum, after reading the content of the letter delivered to them.

"Calm down son, what is it? speak slowly, I can't understand any thing you are saying dear" Miranda said while smiling at her son, who was clearly out of breath from his long run, her crystal clear blue eyes sparkled, her long wavy blue hair falling silently on her shoulders, she was a beautiful woman going to her mid thirties, but she still looked like she was in her early twenties.

"Mum I just got a scholarship into the "Glorious Academy" in city Z, that famous school that only a select few students every year"

Nicholas said happily with a bright smile on his face, he felt proud, he was turning 15 soon and he was going to attend Glorious Academy a dream school for most people.

"Nicholas did you seat for the scholarship?, why were you selected?" Miranda asked a bit puzzled.

"This was also puzzling to me mom, but that doesn't mean I would reject it, my name was clearly stated in here, and they would come personally to take me there in a week time" Nicholas replied with a happy tone, Nicholas was a boy with blue eyes and silver hair, he had clear white skin, straight nose and a bright smile, he was a handsome boy, he took the face and eyes of his mother.

"Son this looks fishy, I will look into this scholarship for you before you go in a week time, you know you are all I got"

Miranda said in a solemn tone which was heartbreaking, her husband had gone missing, when Nicholas was just a year old and now they don't know if he is dead or alive.

"Mom, don't be like that, nothing would go wrong this is a prestigious school, widely known and their stamp is in the letter, you can ask around" Nicholas said feeling fallen because the way his mother reacted.

Miranda finally smiled, before continuing hanging the clothes she was hanging, before Nicholas came screaming in, Miranda took the letter from Nicholas later on to find out if it was genuine and it was confirmed that it was genuine, after going seeking answers, she was finally relieved and gave the okay for her son to go and was genuinely happy too.

Within that time a week passed and the final day arrived, a black limo came over to pick up Nicholas, who quickly gave a long good bye to his mother, "I will miss you mum" Nicholas said in a sad tone, while hugging his mother, "Take care of yourself son, always eat your food on time, bath on time and wash your laundries" Miranda said to Nicholas, because he was going to be living in the dorm now, the scholarship covers everything, and so Miranda was just informing him about his daily activities, Nicholas only smiled and nodded at his mum, before finally entering the limo that was waiting for him.

The driver started speaking "Your Letter?" Nicholas immediately gave it to him from the back seat he was in, with a few luggage.

"Name, Nicholas Michaelson, taken" the driver said to himself before driving off, the journey was a quiet one, neither parties spoke with one another after that, the journey took up to 3 to 4 hours because it was in another city entirely.

We came towards a huge gate colored in golden colour, the security at the gate only nodded towards the driver and then opened the gate and allowed the driver in, before they drove for another 30minutes in a straight line passing through a role of trees, making the whole scenery beautiful and magical, Nicholas eyes sparkled, while they were driving in, until they came in contact with the first building, which looked like a mansion than a school, there were other smaller buildings around and a watchtower at the other side, the driver drove to the building which looked like a mansion before we abruptly stopped.

The driver came out and opened the door of the limo for Nicholas before carrying his luggage and saying "we have arrived, please follow me"

Nicholas followed the driver inside the school that looked like a mansion, upon arriving inside he saw a huge hall, as big as a soccer field, but the hall was empty, there were only six chairs in the corner and about five of them were already occupied with teenagers his age, the driver escorted Nicholas to the last empty seat, which he sat down.

"When are we going to the main school?, we were told to wait and is almost an hour already, why were we left here?" 

As Nicholas sat down a boy who was a bit tanned and a bit muscular said, his had dark hair, dark eyes, his voice was grumpy and he was fuming.

The driver who brought Nicholas over then answered him like he was answering the ranting of a baby, with little to no emotions in his voice "The candidates are complete and secured, you would be attended to shortly, that would be all I will be taking my leave" with that the driver left all six of them in the large hall.

"This is bullshit, I thought we were on scholarship what kind of treatment is this" thesame boy from earlier said again, this left an impression of the boy in Nicholas mind,

"Calm down Carter, we have been here longer than you" another boy from the group said, this boy looks like the kind of boy every boy wants to punch in the face, his blue hair was neatly trimmed, his blue eyes were beautiful, he looked like your typical playboy. 

They were three boys including Nicholas and three girls, they make up the six people but before Nicholas could start up a conversation with all of them, something strange happened.
