“Greene, let him in.”

The Dean’s voice echoed from inside his office, startling the two men outside. By the look of things, he had heard the conversation between the gold ranked hunter and his assistant, and therefore decided to grant him audience to speak with him.

Greene, the Dean’s assistant, vehemently disagreed with Dean. He didn’t want the hunter to meet with the Dean.

“Dean Shinomiya, I don’t think we should let him in. We have more important things to do.” The assistant replied, passing the hunter a side look that was filled with contempt.

Rodd, the gold ranked hunter looked at the assistant and scoffed at the subtle insult, but said nothing. The decision to grant him an audience with the Dean didn’t rest on him but on the Dean, so he could care less about what the assistant thought.

“Why? He might have something important to tell us.” The Dean retorted.

“It surely can’t be as important as what we were doing, Dean Shinomiya.” The assistant shot back, not willing to give up.
