Chapter 144: Surrendering

Sam recognised the shoes as military boots but didn't think much of them. Based on Lucan's age, Sam estimated that it had been more than ten years since Lucan had retired from the military.

If someone Lucan's age were still in the army, he would have been an important official by now. However, Lucan's car was just an ordinary jeep. One look and Sam knew that Lucan was just a veteran who had been fired over the years. Sam didn't think about Lucan.

Lucan frowned. The man scoffed angrily. "I'll give you one last chance."

"Old fool, you are quite arrogant."
