Chapter 17

The five men at Lewis's side stared. With their large and strong-looking bodies, they were sure that the man in front of them could be trounced.

That was before something surprising happened to them because the movements of Joshua facing them were so agile that he ducked to attack and made a lunge that pushed all five of their bodies to fall. The pain was so lodged in their bodies that they were unable to move.

Joshua patted his hand a few times. He walked up to the man, who was transfixed. He then held Lewis' shoulder. The man gasped in shock. He seemed to have just woken up from a terrifying reverie. "You want to play with me?" Joshua's heavy voice shook him.

The two of them staring at each other affected Lewis, he felt an overwhelming fear of facing the man in front of him, and he couldn't move his hands.

What is this?

This was the first time he felt Joshua was really like a giant monster, able to push him into fear. Joshua realized that because Lewis' demeanor now was quite differ
