"Has Max ever brought another woman to this house?" Jasmine asked.

The maid shook her head. "No, Miss. You are the only woman brought here by Mr. Max."

"Please be honest!" Jasmine exclaimed. She suspected that the maid at Max's house only wanted to cover up Max's character.

"Miss, I have told the truth. Mister Max only brought you," said the maid, looking at Jasmine.

Seeing the look in the maid's eyes, Jasmine finally believed her words. "Okay, you can leave."

The maid bowed and left Jasmine's room.
