064. Claire's Sadness

Leon and his mother were on their way home. After the car left the restaurant, Belinda was already looking at her son with a question in her mind.

"Leon, what do you think of Jasmine's parents?" Belinda asked.

Without looking at his mother, Leon replied, "They are very good," he replied simply.

"Do you think they are suitable to be your in-laws?" Belinda teased.

Leon sighed. "What are you talking about, Mom? Jasmine and I are just friends."

"Leon, I didn't mean to force you. But a relationship comes from friendship first."

"I reckon Jasmine will just be my friend."

"Leon, why can you talk like that?" Belinda looked at Leon in surprise.

"If I wasn't the heir to the Jensen family, would Jasmine really want to be my sincere friend?" Leon's gaze met Belinda's. The hazel eyes looked sad. "One day, if I get married again, I hope to marry a woman who can accept me as I am. She must loved Leon, not an heir. I thought I had found my dream girl in Claire, but I was wrong," he continued.
