156. Who Gave You the Rose?

“Leon, my mother said that she would return to Havelock this morning. Did she ask you for money?” Elena asked, turning to Leon, who was seen reading a piece of paper with a serious expression.

“Leon, what are you reading?”

Without answering Elena's question, Leon showed her the paper. He looked at Elena sharply. “Who gave this to you? I found this rose and this letter in your bag.”

Elena took the letter from Leon's hand and read it. She frowned because she really didn't know who had written that letter to her.

"I don't know, Leon," answered Elena, shaking her head.

"Oh really?" Leon smiled bitterly, his eyes showing disappointment. He felt traumatized by Claire, and he now suspected Elena.

“Leon, I really don't know who gave that to me. I didn't even know there were roses in my bag.” Elena looked at Leon closely, hoping that the man would believe what she said.

Leon didn't say a word, but he immediately went into his room. It looked like he was disappointed.

“Leon, wait!” Elena chased
