235. Past Relationship

The maid at the door immediately bowed when she saw Dean.

"Good afternoon, sir," greeted the maid.

Hearing the maid's voice from the doorway made Dean's parents turn their gaze to their son, who had just arrived.

"Oh, my dear Dean, nice to see you here.” Juliet got up from her seat and immediately hugged her son. She kissed Dean's cheek and cupped his cheeks with both hands. "You haven't been here for a long time, darling; don't you miss us?" The woman's voice sounded so soft.

Dean did not immediately respond to his mother's question. His eyes were fixed on his father, who was looking at him from the dining table.

“Father told me to come here. Didn't he tell you?” Dean asked back.

Juliet glanced at her husband and asked, “Honey, why didn't you tell me that Dean was coming here? If you had told me, I would have prepared his favorite food."

"I ordered him suddenly," answered Rexa Romano. The man's facial expression looked cold and firm, in contrast to Juliet, who tended to be warm.
