260. The Revenge

The sunlight reflecting on her eyelids made Elena's eyes open. Her gaze was directed towards the window, whose curtains had been drawn. Leon looked neatly dressed. He wore a mocha-colored suit.

Leon's gaze turned to his wife, and he smiled when he saw her. He drew closer to Elena and kissed her forehead.

"Good morning, my dear," said Leon.

"Good morning," replied Elena, her gaze fixed on her husband. She admired the appearance of the handsome man in front of her. He looked very charming, like a prince.

"Sorry, I have to wake you up because this morning we are going to my hotel," said Leon.

A maid entered the open room. She placed a tray of food on the table.

"Good morning, young master, and my lady, your breakfast is ready," said the maid while bowing her head.

“Thank you, but next time you don't have to deliver our breakfast here. We'll go alone to the dining room," replied Elena spontaneously.

The maid frowned and glanced at Leon. Leon chuckled.
