A few hours early Neva and Galen were able to find a guard during the nighttime patrol. Well, that same guard was being a problem as it seems this person didn’t want to do what they asked as it was close for his shift to end.
Lucky Neva was able to convince this guard by telling him the ways she could make the man suffer in ways that will not put his own life at a dangerous end. Galen was even impressed and fearful of her that she noticed the expression he was making and Neva made one back that was like a what expression.
Soon the two found themselves inside the building headquarters of the guards inside the town of Stanlow. They were in the offices of the guard captain who was happy to be brother in the middle of the night.
“So you two force one of my men to come and
Delmar asks a group of people to find out what has been going on with the guards that give off the impression something is important. “From what is being said so far there is a rumor going around that there is a vampire in our town.” One of them answered him, but another began to speak against what that one said. “A rumor you say far from it friend there is no rumor it is a thing of truth a night creature has come to our home and has already taken a life.” “Come on, you think one of them could make their way here so easily.” The group began to argue while Delmar thought about this information having one of his hands on a chain Alex came up beside
Marcus sat down with his back against a cell wall not alone inside there was also Alex the young man who was the one and only person to survive the destruction of his home. There was nothing said between the two for a time that goes, but Marcus keeping to himself could feel those staring coming from Alex who does this from time to time. It annoyed him to the point he had to open his mouth to speak about it. “Tell me what the hell is your reason that you keep staring at me, better answer fast before I do something I am going to enjoy.” “There's no need for that, I was just staring at you because I wanted to know if what the guards say is true are you…” “A vampire is that you wish to know if what is said is tr
"This was more than I have agreed to, I might have to talk with your boss about giving more for this." Marcus says holding his sword tightly when facing a magical threat that was not included to be among Bandits. “We didn’t know someone like her was among these guys, I mean seriously what in god's name would she be doing here.” “Oh, I’ll make sure to ask her that when I get the chance for a nice lovely conversation.” Right then the two saw a large fireball coming their way Marcus pushed the guard out of its way and did the same for himself. “Enough! Of you two talking as I grow tired of wasting my time on this one-sided fight.” &nbs
“Stay with the horses while I go take care of this problem,” Marcus tells Hobert. “You got it, sir, I'll stay right as you said.” Hobert was glad to hear that he will be staying with the horse, staying away from the camp filled with bandits. Marcus got to it right away, moving forward to the camp, but not too close, noticing that bandits were acting as guards and to keep watch for anyone trying to invade their base. He moves carefully for the bandits on the watch to not catch him easily entering the camp, still Marcus had to be careful as there were more of them moving about inside. There was something that was catching his attention as it seemed that bandits were not acting like they usually do, more like an army. The big guy has come out to join in on the fight that seems to favor one side or one person to say at least. Marcus knew in a matter of time this person was going to take action against him and this guy was not someone who should be taken lightly. Marcus analyzes the big guy taking notes of everything starting with the body; it was not normal but was completed with a muscular build. There were even black ink tattoos on parts of the body along with some scars that stand out telling this man had some experiences with battle and Marcus is going to have to keep a close eye on his moments. The weapon this big guy was holding was a large shield that can fit with his large body and was a menace to use for crashing body parts. None of the two made the first to attack yet it seemed both were not fools to rush into a fight. The Curse Mortal Ch 26: Marcus Vs Egrad
Egrad had been around for a long time during his life in this world. Fighting one battle to another as that was what the man was good for thanks to his build. That style of life without a meaningful purpose was what he accepted until he encountered her, the one who is the head boss of the camp. This guy never came to believe he would be serving someone like her, but here is Egrad doing what she orders. Of course, he wasn't just like the other bandits, this man was her right hand and only more between the two given the time that was spent together. Yet this day there was a feeling Egrad having it bother him as he stared at the one that just had a nice drink of blood. Knowing this person was a vampire now means that the fight is going to get a little harder and the ending result will mean not the enemy, but his. &nbs
Receiving that boosted aid by the Sorcerers who in turn was the true boss over these bandits. It was thanks to her that Egrad was able to keep Marcus the vampire attacker even more so that the one that is losing the most in this fight was now him. Marcus was now the one to be placed as the losing fighter getting hit with that mace over and over. Feeling the power by the user swing landing each time a part of his body was attacked and those each time added more pain than the last. While this was going on the bandits watching began to cheer on Egrad who was beating this inhuman attacker. Marcus found it to be annoying but was too tired to do anything at the moment dealing with the feeling of such great pain all over his body, surprising none of those body parts bones broke yet. Hobert was caught in surprise when hearing a voice behind casing this man to jump ready to leave right away. Lucky for him taking a quick peek to see who it might be stopped him from leaving once Hobert got a look as it turned out that the voice belonged to a female. “Wait a minute, aren't you that hunter chick that was in town?" Hobert felt relieved to see it was just this person and he did not mind taking a nice look at her chest body area. "This hunter chick here has a name you know and it is Neva who would kindly like you to stop staring at my chest.” “Oh… right, forgive me on that, but may I ask the reason you are here.” “Isn’t it obvious I aThe Curse Mortal Ch 29: A Vampire Vs a Sorcerer's
