That was the utmost worst question to ask someone that sort of thing.

“Are you an idiot or something? The girl finally spoke and it was to insult Hobert.

“Hey there's no need for that, I just didn't have anything to start with as a conversation, so I picked that to be it," Hobert says trying to defend his reason for the question that he asks.

"And that was the best one you can come up with, surely you would have done better than that to start a conversation with someone." The girl said, sounding disappointed.

"Well, I am a bit curious about the slave thing. I mean I have seen some unfortunate poor fools sold off like that back in the town in the market area when I was a guard." Hobert says.

She went back to being quiet which made him think the talk had come to a quick end.

"I was sold to that man by my parents when he offered them money." She says with that sad tone.
