"What is going on here? where am I?" He asked rhetorically, stumbling and trying hard to move against the wind.
He kept struggling against the wind but it kept dragging him back into the chamber making him yell out in frustration.
He woke up in a strange realm and nothing seemed familiar at all, he was confused and was almost losing his mind.
He tried moving into the vacuum again and was pushed back forcefully by the wind yet again and so he stopped trying and sat back down on the floor when he woke up.
"What's wrong?" He muttered looking around once again, he saw he was in the middle of a vacuum and yet it felt like he was inside of a cabin with no encasement.
There was no door, no window; it was just like being in a vast space.
He propped his head with his hands and concluded he was most probably drunk, but then he wasn't hungover.
So what was wrong, he thought, pulling his hair in frustration.
He pulled himself off the floor and tried walking in another direction with the hope of finding an exit but was once again pulled back to his former position.
He sighed for the umpteenth time and decided to time the wind and rush against it, he moved as if he was walking out and as soon as he felt the wind picking up again, he rushed against it and landed right inside of his bedroom.
Filled with shock and agitation, he turned left and right, walked towards his bedside drawer, touched the bed, and even touched the portrait of Cassie he hung up on his wall.
And they all felt right, his bed was still made, it was just intact like he never left, seeing everything just the way it was, he concluded he was in his bedroom and not hallucinating.
"But how come the cabin led to my room?" He said.
"Something isn't right." He started moving to pick up the glass cup by his bedside.
"What's wrong with me?" He yelled in frustration hitting the cup straight into the wall.
It hit the wall with a loud sound before shattering into pieces.
The sound of glass hitting the wall alerted the guards standing watch outside his room hoping to prevent intrusion of anyone.
They both rushed in and were shocked to their bone marrow to see their missing Lord hale and hearty in his room.
They immediately went on their knees to pay homage to him.
"My lord, we were all worried at your sudden disappearance." One of them said.
"Yes my lord, the whole of the realm was in disarray at your disappearance." The other one added.
But Romeo just looked at them confused.
"What disappearance?" He thought.
It was all driving him crazy and he didn't even know what was going on with him at the moment.
One minute he was in a strange room and the next he was back in his room.
Seeing that their Lord Romeo ignored them, the two guards slipped out quietly to inform everyone that he was back.

The news of Lord Romeo's return soon spread like wildfire, the whole of the vampire realm and a few of the other realms had heard about it.
Soon after, Alpha Lucas and Lord valentine heard of his return and rushed down to his realm without wasting time.
They were stopped by the guards keeping watch at his bedroom entrance and told that Lord Romeo wasn't accepting visitors and wasn't talking with anyone.
But that didn't deter the duo. They barged past the guards and went straight into the room.
They found him sitting by his window with a glass of alcohol in hand.
He was lost in thought, drinking nonstop from the glass of alcohol, and didn't notice their presence until Alpha Lucas dragged the cup out of his hand.
"Drinking yourself into stupor aa a ga aia n." Alpha Lucas mocked slamming the glass on a nearby tray.
"He can drink himself to death if he wants, but can't just disappear on us without prior notice." Lord valentine spat.
"Where have you been Romeo?" Alpha Lucas asked, sitting with his legs crossed on the bed.
Lord Romeo turned to face the duo with a perplexed look on his face.
"I don't know where I have been, it's still like a bad joke to me." He answered as if not sure of what he was saying.
"A thousand-year-old vampire doesn't know where he has been." Lord valentine said bursting into loud laughter.
"That's like the joke of the year." He added rolling on the bed in laughter.
"This isn't a joke Val, I'm being serious, I don't know where I have been." Lord Romeo interjected scratching his head.
"You've got to be kidding me vamp." Lord valentine said, picking up the sincerity in Lord Romeo's word.
Alpha Luca who'd silently watched the both of them banter borough out the CCTV camera they retrieved from Cassie's graveside.
"Here, watch this." He said playing the scene at the graveside for him to watch.
There was a pregnant silence hovering over the room for about five minutes until Lord Romeo spoke.
"That wasn't me." He said, further confused.
"I wasn't at Cassie's grave anytime this week, I was to go there today, or was it tomorrow, what day is today?" He asked in confusion.
The duo watched him with mixed feelings, one thinking he was going mad and the other thinking he was probably drunk.
"Wait, what?" Lord Romeo screamed.
"I didn't just watch Cassie's grave being dug up, or did I?" He asked replaying the video all over again.
He quickly rushed towards his walk-in closet to retrieve an unknown object before dashing out of the room in the direction of Cassie's graveyard.
"Hey Romeo, wait up." Lord Valentine called after him.
"We need to go after him." He said to a seemingly calm Alpha Lucas.
"You go, I'll come after you." Alpha Lucas replied using his eye to direct him out of the room.
Now left alone in Lord Romeo's room, he gave the room a calculating look, sniffing to maybe detect a strange smell but he didn't, so he gave up and went out to join them at the graveyard.
By the time Alpha Luca arrived at Cassie's graveside, the whole place had been turned inside out, and the flowers planted by the grave keeper had been poured out in different directions by a Raving Romeo.
It was like a stampede just occurred with a sobbing Lord Romeo sitting by the ruin left behind.
Alpha Lucas walked towards Lord Valentine who was standing at a safe distance from Lord Romeo.
"I've never seen him this crazy." Lord valentine said, sensing the presence of Alpha Lucas.
"He has a fiery temper, so this isn't new." Alpha Lucas pointed out.
An hour after everything calmed down with Romeo, the duo walked toward him and found out that the object he took from his closet was a pendant he had once gifted to Cassie.
He clutched it to his chest wailing silently and cursing at whoever had stolen his precious Cassie.
It was obvious he hadn't gotten over his love for her, no one but Alpha Lucas and Lord valentine could testify that the cold vampire could and was actually in love.
Alpha Lucas pulled the deranged vampire and took him back to his study.
He left him and went to order his servant to prepare his favorite when Beta Ryan arrived from her visit to earth.
"I'm back." She announced walking straight towards Alpha Lucas's fridge.
She picked up a snack and moved towards the figure sitting downcast on Alpha Lucas's chair.
Thinking it was Alpha Lucas himself, she walked towards him and was about to scare him when she noticed he wasn't even the one sitting.
It was Romeo, the annoying vampire, the supposed missing Romeo was the one sitting on her Alpha's chair.
She was surprised and a bit angry to see the reason she had just journeyed to earth, sitting Comfortably on Alpha Lucas's chair.
"Can you stop staring?" He snapped at her.
"Weren't you missing?" She asked back.
"For God's sake, I wasn't missing." He yelled.
"You weren't missing." She replied perplexed.
"You were gone for over two weeks, and the news was all over the place, I just returned from going to clear your suck face off the news on earth." She added.
"I wasn't missing you dumb wolf." He insulted.
"You called me dumb, you piece of the night walking shit." She yelled, rushing at him.
She grabbed his collar and clawed at his neck.
He just had a way of working her with his words, he always had something degrading to say about her so she let out all of her pent anger against him.
"I wish you died wherever you went." She said still clawing at him whilst heating his chest furiously.
Lord Romeo kept during her attacks making her more infuriated.
The sound of their duel attracted Alpha Lucas and Lord Valentine into the study room.
Lord valentine immediately jumped into their midst to stop Beta Ryan's fist from colliding with Lord Romeo's jaw.
It ended up hitting him straight on his cheeks forcing him to groan in pain.
Having calmed the both of them, Beta Ryan now stands heaving heavily by Alpha Lucas's side and Lord Romeo holding his swollen cheeks by Lord Valentine's side.
Lord Valentine noticed a difference in the gait of whoever they saw in the video at the graveside of Cassie and who was currently fighting Beta Ryan.
"Are you sure about this?" demanded Alpha Luca while fondling the tip of the TV remote he was holding. His pleading tone was aimed at persuading Romeo to reconsider his decision. Alpha Luca, Lord Valentine, and Romeo were in Luca's mansion seated in his living room. Romeo had already made up his mind but Lord Valentine was hesitant yet he wouldn't want to let his friends down. They were like brothers after all and backing out at that moment would seem like cowering in the face of danger. "You know you've got history with them right?" Alpha Luca pointed out after switching on the TV and Lord Valentine nodded in agreement. Romeo was silent and his bloodshot eyes were fixed on the TV even though he was looking at nothing in particular. Lord Valentine's indecision was justified. He would confidently wander across different realms but a shape-shifting realm is a place he wouldn't want to toy with especially after his last gruesome encounter. A century ago, Lord Valentine embar
"Who the hell are you?" He asked, grabbing the shapeshifter by his collar. "I'm Romeo." The shapeshifter replied as if stating the obvious. "You aren't Romeo so shut the fuck up." Alpha Luca said, pulling him out of the driver's seat. "I'm Romeo wolfie, don't you recognize me," The shapeshifter said, still pretending, which further infuriated Luca into punching his head against the dashboard of the car. "Who the hell are you?" He screamed at the imposter. "I'm Romeo." The shale shifter kept insisting. "You aren't Romeo." Alpha Luca started and got a laugh in return. "You're wiser than they say you are a big bad wolf." The shapeshifter commended realizing his cover had been blown off by the Alpha. "What the hell are you doing here?" Alpha Luca asked, pissed at the fact that he was almost fooled. "Pretending to be Romeo I presume." The shapeshifter teased wiping off the blood on his head which has now spilled over the dashboard of the car. "What the hell." Alpha Luca growled,
Ryan stormed out of the cell and headed for the main quarters where Alpha Luca's study is located. Nothing pissed her as much as how Alpha Luca reacted to the situation at hand. She was used to Romeo being how he is, but she didn't expect Alpha Luca to vent his anger on her that way. "What did I expect though?" She muttered to herself and chuckled. "Not like I am anything special to him, so why would he care about how I felt?"She sighed and a hiss came out of her mouth before she could even think it through. She had had feelings for Alpha Luca way before anyone could think about it. It's been years and she still does. That was why aside from being his Beta, she was always ready to defend him and to stick to his side in case of anything. Her feelings for him had grown through the years, and it was only hurtful for her when after all those years, the feelings still haven't been reciprocated by him. "All he does is shout at me and order me around." She muttered again and hissed. As she
In a room barely illuminated except for the burning candles around, was a group of seven people: men and women dressed alike. They were all dressed in black gowns with capes and were gathered around a table. The cabin was near a lake and was covered by a thick forest. The niche was as silent as a tomb except for the rustling of the leaves and the sound of the cold breeze romancing the lake.A young man of about twenty-five years of age walked into the room with his face slightly covered by a hat. He was wearing the same black gown as the members of the group. "The witch is here but she wouldn't step in.'' he announced, clearing out his gray hat. The people around the table greeted one another with congratulatory smiles upon the announcement of the witch's arrival."Bring her in." directed the man seating in their middle in an authoritative tone. On both sides were three people each. Both his hands were stretched forth on the table. About forty years of age, he is the leader of the cu
"I need that witch back here at all cost. She couldn't have gone far." growled the cult leader. "Not in her state" he added with a smirk. He knew she must be running out of blood and the herbs were possibly taking effect in her system."Look for her. She hasn't gone far." he confidently stated and moved towards Cassie. The men he had earlier sent to seek the witch nodded in understanding and made their way back to the forest. After the witch ran out of the cabin earlier, she managed to cast an illusion spell that lasted for a few minutes. When the men assigned to recapture her stormed the forest, they saw a space even though she was within their reach, covered by her magic. They assumed she had escaped and they went back to report to their leader. After noticing that the men had turned around, the witch stood up and continued running for her life. She ran for about two minutes and fell to her knees. She was very weak. She crawled to a tree and hid behind it.She held her bleeding l
Alpha Lucas sat wondering if he should take Fredrick's words for it or not. He knew how cunning these shapeshifters were and how easy it was for them to deceive people, he also knew he could be telling the truth and at the same time, he could be receiving them."We caught a shapeshifter the last time we were in your realm, I do not know whatever his name is, but he told us Mario sent him to Lord Romeo's realm to steal something of importance." Alpha Lucas said, staring Straight at Fredricks's eyes trying to detect even the slightest wave or flick of emotion indicating if he was telling the truth or not, but there was none."Mario sent this shapeshifter to steal the coffin of a loved one to Lord Romeo." He added hoping that Fredrick would finally see the severity of the act of the said Mario and extend a helping hand in finding him.Frederick looked deep in thought as if trying to understand what Alpha Lucas just said.Mario had already been banished from the shape shifters' realm havi
Lord Romeo stood there in fear as he stared at the figure before him. He had no way to explain the woman before him, but the fact that she had the appearance of his love, Cassie meant a lot to him as he stared at her.Could it be another of the shape shifter's tricks? He thought to himself as he walked closer to her, slowly. Deep down though, he still felt it was his actual Cassie. Aside from the feeling he had as he looked at her, he knew a shapeshifter of any sort wouldn't dare play with him in such a manner, right in his presence. She began to walk towards him and gradually, she also walked towards him although, slowly. Seeing what was about to happen, Alpha Luca immediately set to action and pulled Lord Romeo backward."Romeo, you can't trust this woman!" Alpha Luca exclaimed, a serious look on his face as he stared at Romeo. His face went from Romeo to Cassie and back to Romeo. "You can't trust her. And besides, it could be one of the shapeshifters, trust me, I know what I am say
"So, what are we going to do about this?" Hera asked. "We have to find him...and we have to do that fast.""How did this even happen? I mean when Romeo went missing, I understand that they would have caught him while he was drunk," Lord Romeo eyed him when he heard that, but didn't say anything, "but not Valentine. He hardly drinks and thinks twice about his decision unless he's provoked." Though Valentine was the calmest among the Trio. While Alpha Luca went on in his quest of beating the shit out of everyone who was crossing his path, and Lord Romeo went on 'living his life, you could find Lord Valentine in his study, reading a good book, or in his room sleeping. It was one of the reasons people underestimated him sometimes, because of his calm personality—until he proved them wrong. You could never tell his next move, or read his thoughts from his expression, that's what made him even more dangerous when messed with.Hera looked over to Lord Romeo, though he looked deep in thought
