Chapter Four

"Do you expect me to keep on waiting for you?" The frown that was hanging on his face was just way too vivid as she fell to the floor with her pride crushing down right before her.

"I am only here to ask for my account balance but she decided to take me through the glorious process of naming me a beggar." The banker was dumb enough not to pick out sarcasm in his voice.

"Ella? Is that what you are paid for? To go about bad-mouthing people?" He frowned.

"But take a good look at it." She paused all of a sudden.

"Do you even realize that it is the investor that has the highest deposit in the bank and your attitude almost chased him away?"

"What happened to give him the details to see if he was a beggar or not?" The frown that was hanging on his face deepened even more

But she could hardly be convinced by the previous statement that he just made. Cold sweat broke out from the corner of his face almost immediately and she broke into shivers.

"It's him?" She could hardly make out words to express the shock that hovered on her face.

"I'm sorry sir." The manager apologized.

"It's no big deal." He replied.

"And I am willing to help you with the details myself and help you through the procedures." He noted but his words got George a little bit confused as a repetition of the words sped off through his mouth.

"The last time that I checked. The only thing that I needed to check my account balance was my bank details."

"Have I been so locked out of the word that I have suddenly become an alien to almost everything?" He thought again

But his thoughts remained buried inside as he did not want to make a fuss about anything again.

He expected the sound of footsteps and when there was eventually none, his eyes sped off towards the floors, and for the first time, he noticed it.

"Please up, sir." He helped the manager up.

"I'm pretty sorry sir. I am going to accept any punishment that you give to me." The banker noted but the manager didn't want the high-profile client to remember anything about the implant experience that he had walking into the place.

"When you are done thinking about what you have done, you can always take a break."

The eyes of the banker blinked almost immediately at the words that she just heard knowing fully well what they met.

"Sir please don't do that to me. I can't be put off the payroll for a month. I am going to accept any other judgment but please sir?"

"Would you rather be sacked?" The manager shot an evil grin at her causing her to freeze right on the spot that she was.

A sudden pause came afterwards with her heart racing hard against her chest as though it was going to come off from its cave.

"Then you know what to do."

A smile hovered on his face as he turned towards George quickly gesturing at the office by the left angle of the banking hall.

"Here sir." He led the way well. George followed him closely from behind until they got into a well-furnished office.

The Manager gestured towards the chair just before his seat, beckoning on him to have a seat and George followed soon.

And as weird as it may seem, he was carried through the process of biometric verification, a face pass, and a series of other computer passes.

It was as though he was accessing a military zone and he was going to have to be searched properly.

"Finally, your birthday, sir." He Inquired.

"Just yesterday." He sighed. The day that he had also been betrayed, how unfortunate of him.

"I'm sorry for the delay sir. But with the amount of money that you have in your account, we have to make sure that it's properly guided." He noted.

Their speech starting from that of Henry, the ATM and then him was plugging him into a lot more suspense than he wanted.

With his heart rising on his chest.

Finally, the printing machine indicated the sound of the new birth of a print, and the manager cautiously presented it to him.

"These are all the details, sir." He noted.

"Three trillion dollars." George seized a breath, his hands firmly dug into the papers, still trying hard to process what stood before him.

"Sorry to bring it up but I guess from the way that you first looked at me that you recognize me already."

"Are you going to forgive our grandfather and help him out now?"

"After the death of my mother, chances are slim." He noted.

.........

George's eyes paired out towards the plain road. It was already running late and for the first time in a long time, it felt as though a  sudden weight had been pulled off his shoulders

He was now a trillionaire, back to his initial firm, his grandfather wanted him back.

But after thinking about it for a while,  he stopped to think. He could establish his own business and there was no need for them. Just as they tossed him.

But he was doing all of this for his father after all and this wasn't what he would have wanted for him.

A slight sign escaped from his mouth

And in the real sense, he had always been the owner of the company.

Though it was a tough decision for him, he decided to fulfill the last wish of his father and help out.

He brought out the card from his pocket and the clock on the meal, he had just two hours to make it to the appointment.

Getting a ride, he could be there in an hour and he could get a decent well for himself since he was so famished.

He got a cab to take him where he wanted to be. He stared at the gigantic building, not knowing if it was still owned by the family group.

A lot might have changed that he knew nothing about.

Brassing up, he walked straight towards the front desk to book a temporary seat until his grandfather arrived but to his surprise, he met someone there who made his teeth clench and his hands made that cracking sound out of anger.

It was Sophia.

But in her eyes, he could see the image of Georgia.

She turned around towards him almost immediately and her lips broke up into a sudden frown as she twisted her nose with so much disgust.

"What are you doing here?" The frown that was initially hanging on her face deepened even more.

"Don't you think that I should be the one asking that question?" He returned with an evil, more stale stare.

Then a sudden voice came from behind.

"What's going on here?" The manly voice vibrated in the whole hall.

The man walked towards them swiftly and planted a kiss on Sophia's face.

His eyes turned around towards George with a disgusted look hanging on his face.

"Who is he and what is he doing here?" He inquired.

"The guy that your friend told you about." She replied.

"Oh, the delusional freak. What's he found here now?" There was a trace of disgust and humor in his voice.

"Well, I can guess properly." Sophia snapped with a dark smile.

"Georgia has been the one feeding the hell out of him and now that she is no longer around, he is so famished and here to beg for a while." She replied with a thunderous laughter.

"Well, I am afraid he won't be getting anything here." Her boyfriend added.

He frowned at their obvious stupidity because as far as he knew they were the delusional ones there.

"Do you think so?" He smirked his aura and the texture of his voice completely changed.
