The specialist, a kind-faced lady named Dr. Evans, entered the room at that minute. With a warm grin, she welcomed them all some time recently, turning to look at George's grandparents.

"They've been getting on in a long time, of course," Dr. Evans explained after an exhaustive check-up. "Push, combined with the characteristic wear and tear of time, has taken its toll. Rest, a solid slim down, and overseeing their tensions are key."

George turned in eagerness, his mind racing. He knew the push of the later trial hadn't made a difference in their condition. His starting outrage towards his uncles had morphed into a complex blend of emotions, guilt swirling among the waiting hatred.
