Chapter 2

“Regret? For what? For getting rid of a useless loser?” the secretary laughed, she thought Aiden just told a funny joke.

But Gina remained silent, she felt Aiden was so different today.

In her mind, Aiden was just a coward, he couldn’t be so calm and stable to sign.

Although the result was what Gina wanted, but the process was so different from she thought.

"You apparently don't show your sadness?" Gina asked.

Aiden shook his head. Why would he look sad?

"I'm just doing what you told me to do, do you want me to cry and beg for our divorce to be called off?" Aiden replied casually.

Aiden's answer made Gina a little angry, she didn't expect that Aiden would easily give up their marriage.

What they had done over the years seemed pointless to Aiden. "OK, tomorrow I will be waiting for you at the court to officially ratify this divorce agreement."

The divorce was about to become official.

Aiden walked away from the company, his life now free and Gina, that girl was enough to embarrass him.

"Good, he's gone now." Maria said with a smile.

Gina replied as she watched Aiden's body slowly start to disappear from her office. The divorce papers in her hand now allowed her to start wanting to build the business big.

While in front of the company, Aiden felt his pocket vibrate, he picked up his cell phone and saw that there was a phone call.

Aiden frowned as he looked at the phone screen and then took the call, "What's going on?" he said in a very cold voice.

When the caller heard Aiden's voice, he became a little scared and shook slightly, trying to speak. Aiden's voice had changed from last time.

The man carefully adjusted his breathing, and said, "Next week there will be an event for the financing, and at that time the Hamilton Group will officially formalize the financing of Stone's group."

Aiden who heard that seemed to be still listening, what did he have to do with it. "Hm," Aiden deferred.

The man then continued, but he looked a little suspicious as to why Aiden didn't give any other reaction, "However, the leader of Hamilton would like to meet you at this event."

Aiden narrowed his eyes slightly, "Me? Why? Gina was the owner of the company." These words were enough to make him feel uncomfortable at all.

"Ah... no, it's with you Mr. Aiden." The man explained a little nervously, Aiden's suddenly raised voice took him by surprise, after all why did Aiden seem surprised.

Aiden clearly didn't want to do that, and it had absolutely nothing to do with him. "I'm not going to that event," Aiden said firmly and his heavy voice sounded very cold.

The man on the phone was again struck by nervousness, "If you don't go, it will affect the cost."

Now what should he do, when Aiden refused. This was all out of the blue, Aiden should have agreed.

But Aiden replied coldly again, "Look, it's none of my business. If they want to cancel then do it."

The man was confused, what was wrong with Aiden? He loved Gina so much, did they have an argument?

How could he change his nature like that, this wasn't the Aiden he knew?

"But ...."

“Enough, anyway I won’t be there.”

Aiden interrupted the man's conversation with a cold sound and then the call was disconnected.

The man looked at his cell phone, it was no longer connected at all. What had happened to Aiden, were they fighting?

Aiden looked at his cell phone, why did the man make such an absurd statement. He then thought of something pleasant, he had another plan to retaliate perhaps?

Or it could be that Gina would get into trouble from here, but before that there were other things to do.

Just as the man had given up and was feeling self-conscious, his phone suddenly rang and the excitement on the man's face was palpable.

Aiden called back and he quickly picked up the phone hoping that Aiden would change his mind.

"Find me a place to stay!" The call immediately went dead and the man smiled wryly.

He hadn't even answered yet and Aiden was already treating him like that. He then looked down at the phone and started laughing quietly but a little loudly, "Again...this is what Aiden always dose..." he muttered.

He shook his head, the nervousness he had been feeling was starting to dissipate, I like his style, that's how the man thought.

If there were others here, they must be shocked. Because the man who called Aiden was Phile Nelson, the richest man in this city!

Who dares order him like he was a servant?

On the other side of the nation's capital, a beautiful girl of her stature received a call.

She noticed the vibration of her cell phone and saw who was calling at this hour.

She picked it up, then a voice from the cell phone said, "Aiden is divorced." The girl was shocked to hear that, but a smile quickly spread across her face.

She then stood up and excitedly went running out of her office, "I've been waiting for him."
