Rin’s mouth curved upwards as soon as he finished reading the letter.

“Hm, I should write a reply,” he muttered to himself.

He exited the meeting room, only to be greeted by the four knights who had pledged to be by his side at all times.

“Your Highness,” the four of them said as they bowed.

“You may stand,” Rin instructed as he continued walking forwards.

The four knights stayed close to him as he walked to his room.

“Four of you, make sure nobody interrupts me while I’m in my room. And don’t come in unless I call for you.”

“Yes, Your Highness.”

Rin closed the door and rushed to his table.

“Hm, where are the paper and ink?” Rin asked no one in particular.

“Try checking the drawers, Your Highness,” the Orb replied.

“Oh. Thanks.”

Truth to be told, there were indeed a few pieces of paper and a bottle of ink, with a feather inside the drawer.

“Orb, are the people from the Shadow Association here?” Rin asked as he took a piece of paper and the bottle of ink out.
