The massive red curtain began to move, and the bright light from the main stage encircled the entire auction house.

An auctioneer, a dwarf in his seventies, with a white beard explained the rules.

"Today, ten items will be sold, seven of which will be displayed in the first round for anybody to bid on. Following this round, the last three items will be offered to all of you, but only the VIPs will be able to bid. The others may leave or remain to observe the entire process."

After the explanation from the auctioneer, a man in his twenties began to walk at the center of the stage and presented his first item.
