Richard was able to struggle his way out of the restaurant. When he got outside, he met a shocking sight. The bicycle David bought for him laid on the floor crushed beyond repair.

"Oh my God," he exclaimed. "Who did this.'

Now he couldn't restrain the tears that had formed in his eyes. What explanation would he give to satisfy David. Even If he could buy David a million of that same bicycle, he knew that would not change anything. David would insist that he wants him bicycle back. Besides, where will he tell them he got to he money from.

He was stranded. Though David said it was a gift, Richard knew it was not. "Or David actually got him the bicycle to make fool of him?" Richard thought.
