"Perhaps it is time to end this farce" Drew laughed after hearing the other party's bid.

Just as he wanted to open his mouth, his competitor from the VIP lounge further added.

"I'd like to implore the brother below to step back and give me face. This item has taken a liking for my Red Canyon Sect.. if you do, you'd be sure to become a good friend of the Red Canyon Sect"

.

"Red Canyon Sect?!" Tom's eyes sudden shot up as if she had just heard something terrifying.

"What is it?" Drew noticed that there was something wrong upon noticing her body language.

"F-Fortfeit the bid!" she urged him, in a trembling voice.

"The.. The Red Canyon Sect is an existence that you shouldn't dare mess with!"

Seeing her this frightened, Drew frowned. Was the Red Canyon Sect that well known? how come he didn't know of it?

"Tch. Looks like it is a powerhouse outside of Amelia's scope of knowledge" he came to this conclusion.

"It's best to not go around offending them if I know nothing about them" he

Twenty minutes wasn't a long duration and soon, it elapsed. Since the break was now over, the Auction participants began to lessen their rowdiness as they waited for Loveth to headline the Auction. Some minutes later, the curtains opened up, revealing Loveth as she cat-walked into the podium. "Welcome once again to the second and final phase of today's Auction event!!" she announced in her usual lovely and inspiring voice. "I can see that there are a lot of you here looking refreshed and expectant. Without much further ado, let the event commence" As soon as she said this, two of the staffs from the Auction House walked up the stage, pulling a show glass from behind them. "Here is a little spoiler before I unveil this item to be auctioned off" Loveth coughed lightly. "If you know you are a lady here, a loving husband or a doting boyfriend, then this item is a must" Upon hearing Loveth's vague words, the interest of everybody at the Auction Hall was piqued, causing them to inten

Minutes passed and the bidding war over the Moon Fairy pill didn't look like it was coming to an end. Unlike the other earlier items, the Moon Fairy pill had more competitors, even though the bidding prices were not that exorbitant when compared to its predecessors.Very soon, the bid had risen all the way to one Million. Although according to the spoilers Loveth gave out, males still chose to bid that high for the pill.Even though there was assurance of more of it being sold later in the future, no male wanted to give up. They wanted to look cool before their female partners. And so, the bids slowly began to inch all its way to two million."This isn't going to end anytime soon" Priscilla shook her head as she observed many youths heatedly shooting out bids amongst themselves.Surprisingly, nobody from the VIP lounge were yet to call out a bid. "Two Million!" Priscilla spoke into the mega phone, her voice resounding throughout the hall. "Look!" "A VIP guest finally called out a

"Now with all that said and done, may the bidding begin. There is no opening bid. So bid to your heart content" Loveth announced confidently. "One Million!!" a man from the audience at the lower floor hurriedly called out a bid. A second barely passed before another bid beat his own. "Two Million!" "Three Million!" "Three Million Six Hundred Thousand!" "Four Million!" Those at the lower hall engaged each other in a fierce bidding war as everybody wanted to get their hands on the spirit herb. Although the herb would be literally useless in their hands, they could sell it at a much more higher price to a Divine Physician; after all, that kind of occupation was the most lucrative in the whole world. Not only that, they would also be able to forge an acquaintance with a Divine Physician. As such, the desire to obtain the spirit herb was intense in their eyes. Just as the bids were slowly inching towards the Ten Million mark, a voice suddenly rang from the VIP lounge, successful

Due to the delay, the crowd thought that Drew had given up the bid. Well, it didn't come as a surprise to them, factoring that the opposition was from the Red Canyon Sect. Even Loveth thought so as well. Although she felt that the bid for the item was below what she had anticipated, she had no choice but to accept the situation the way it was. Her establishment couldn't afford to offend a powerhouse such as the Red Canyon Sect. Just as she wanted to speak through the megaphone, a calm voice calling out a counter bid, resounded from the lower hall. "Hundred Million" Boom!! Everybody present nearly jumped up from their seats. This brat was still at it?! didn't he know when to give up?! "Heh. Looks like this brat isn't from an ordinary background. To think he still wishes to go toe to toe with the Red Canyon Sect. At least, it's not an exaggeration to say he's fully loaded" a man chuckled, in amusement. "So what if he's fully loaded. Sometimes, money can't buy your way through

"Welcome Mr. Drew, is it?" Loveth flashed Drew a beautiful smile as soon as he got inside her office. "You can have a seat please" she pointed at the empty chair facing her desk. Naturally, Drew complied. "You can leave us now" she told the two hefty men standing at both sides of the door. Nodding, the two men obediently left, closing the door from behind them. Drew couldn't help but cast his eyes around the office. It wasn't that spacious, just consisting of a small sofa, two chairs and a desk, a book shelf, an air conditioner, light bulbs, a couple of artistic paintings and a couple of medals on the office desk. All in all, the office was neatly arranged. "I wonder what city you are from, Mr. Drew?" Loveth asked, in an effort to strike up a conversation. "Does it matter?" naturally, Drew wasn't so foolish as to divulge such an information. "I was just curious. After all, you are a new face. Not to brag, but I am actually the observative type and I know majority of those who

"Business proposal?" "Indeed" Drew replied in a serious tone. "I was interested in that Moon Fairy pill that was auctioned off at the event. I'm curious, is it a product of your establishment?" "You mean that? Well, the Moon Fairy pill is not our product but one manufactured by Memphis Herbal Heaven " Loveth replied with a soft giggle. "Hm? I haven't heard of such an establishment.. If they could be able to come up with such a miraculous product, no way they would be a small time business, don't you think?" Drew replied in a thoughtful manner. "Indeed. Memphis Herbal Heaven was created not more than three months ago" Loveth nodded in agreement. "At that time, it was just a small time local business that specialized in the sale of hair lotions. However after three weeks, they began introducing interesting products one after the other, that completely defeated the other medicinal products in the city. Within the span of three months, they became the number one company, firmly d

"Like I had guessed, you are no ordinary youngster" just then, sounds of laughter rang out as two figures appeared from behind Drew. They were Dorian and his master from the Red Canyon Sect. Unfortunately, Drew didn't know they were the envoys from the Red Canyon Sect since the identity of all VIP customers were top secret. "Who are you and why are you stalking me?" Drew frowned with disappointment. "Oh? it seems that you are disappointed? were you expecting someone tougher?" Dorian's master chuckled upon noticing Drew's countenance. "I was expecting a lady" Drew shrugged. "Interesting!" Dorian's master chuckled as his eyes twinkled. It was unknown what was going on his mind. "Although I had expected this.. if you were able to walk past the premises of the Auction House unhindered, that means you were pay up the huge amount you bidded on those items" Drew's face became stern upon hearing the other party's statement. He instantly became alert as he cautiously roamed his eyes a

"Drew! you are finally here!" Tom who had been worriedly pacing about at the garden area sighed in relief when she saw Drew walking past the gates of her family apartment. Rushing over to his side, she began to check his body in case of any bruises or injuries. "Are you okay? were you attacked? are you injured? gosh, I'm so sorry" At that moment, Tom seemed to have taken the role of a over caring house wife whose husband had just returned from the battle field. "Oh. Oh. Looks like you have a very caring girlfriend. I'm jealous!" Tom paused her frantic inspection when she heard a joking remark from behind Drew. Looking over, she finally noticed that Drew wasn't alone but had brought company instead. "He's an expert Divine Physician. You can call him master Bumi" Drew took it upon himself to introduce Dorian and his master. He intentionally omitted the part where they were from the Red Canyon Sect since doing so would only make Tom and her family worry even more. Hearing that

"Why won't you accept the business proposal? I mean.. it would be in your favor right? you'd have the chance to forge a relationship with my master. Don't tell me you are the short sighted kind of person" this time, Drew no longer sounded confident as his palm became sweaty. "I know that. But if you keep on acting like you have all the winning cards in your pocket, then I'd have to decline. Don't think you can fool me. This is most likely a test given to you by your master so he won't be involved in it unless he sees tangible results. Isn't that right?" Loveth scoffed. "Uhhmm. R-Right " Drew nodded awkwardly. "Well, I think I would be able to improvise then. I'll accept your business proposals " "Really?" hearing that the other party had accepted, Drew's eyes sprang up with joy. Giving Drew one long look like as if trying to read what was going on in his mind, Loveth collected the jade bottle from him before proceeding to uncork it. And when she did, the whole office became encased in a thick but rich pleasant scent. "This.. This is herbal adorant!" Her eyes lit up in amazement. Although she wasn't a Divine Physician herself, as the manager of Silver Eagles Auction House, it was only natural that she'd be in the company of a few Divine Physicians once in a while. She had even watched some of them brew medicines and according to them, only highest grade medicines could emit a wonderful scent in the air, called adorant. "Looks like you are well informed" Drew chuckled, while inwardly feeling shocked. After all, it was only after he had upgraded the skill *Ancient Shamanic Medicine* to the max did he finally knew what adorant meant in the field of medicine. "Judging by the intensity of the adorant being emitted.. this is a high quality medicine. Were y

"Eh?" Drew stared at the other party, unable to understand why she was rejecting him from meeting up with Loveth. "May I ask the reason why?" he asked. It was only used to host the auction event days ago. After that, Madame Loveth returned back to the head office of Silver Eagles Auction House. I am the Manager of this store house. "How long was I out?" Drew mumbled as he got up from the cold tiles glancing at the Jade bottle which was lying beside him. After brewing the medicine, he became so exhausted that he decided to take a nap to replenish his lost energy. However the nap ended up becoming a really long sleep. Picking up the jade bottle, he uncorked it and smiled in satisfaction when he saw the slightly purplish liquid inside. "I just have to hand this over to Loveth. I wonder what her reaction is going to be like when she learns of it's uses" he grinned, while carefully tucking the jade bottle inside his pocket. Leaving the refining room, he just happened to bump into Rosalie, clad in a school uniform. "Hm?" Rosalie's brows jumped in joy when she saw Drew. "You finally came out!" she beamed. After all from his words, he was hinting that he was going to brew the 'amazing product' " "But he's just too young. There's no way he can match up to Medicine Priest Harland's expertise which has been honed through many years of experience.." "But some how, my instincts keeps telling me to trust him" she sighed. The whole premises of the mansion plunged into silence. The only thing that could be sensed in the air was the strong iron smell of blood as well as deep resentment. Chapter 125 — Are You Okay?

Yawning heavily, Drew got up from the bed he had used to pass the night. Rubbing the dirt off the corners of his eye, he sighed deeply. He could still feel that his depleted martial energy had not yet been fully replenished. Looks like the Artic Soothing solution had taken much from him than he had anticipated. "How was it?" Currently the whole Mick family were gathered around Mr Caleb lying on a white bed in his room, with eager expressions. "What are you saying Rosalie? your father just drank the medicine. There's no way he would suddenly recover, right?" Although it sounded like a chastisement, Mrs. Mick was actually asking of Drew's opinion. "Sigh. The Sun Curse is a deadly ailment" Drew who was standing a few feets away, holding an empty bowl, sighed. "Although the antidote I brewed was a powerful one, Mr. Mick won't recover instantly. He still needs two days worth of rest before he can return back to normal. " "I'd advise that you give him his space during those two days. Not only that, ensure to change his diet.. he shouldn't eat meat or anything that was cooked or stir fried" he advised. "But my dad hates vegetables" Tom frowned with worry. "Well, then he has to learn how to enjoy eating them. Although he can substitute vegetables with fruits " Drew replied. "Thank you ver
