Memories that don't want to leave

Kate had suspected nothing had changed in her marriage to Nicholas since Kimberly's departure. Nicholas did laugh at her, smiled, paid attention as usual but at certain times –especially at night- Nicholas would spend hours in Kimberly's room which he had partly converted into his son's room.
