Before heading to Nicholas's residence, Kimberly stopped by his parents' graves. He introduced NJ there. When she came out of the tomb, Nicholas was waiting for her. The man was still flustered. NJ ran into Nicholas' arms which the man immediately returned with a rotating hug.

“Kate called me saying you were looking for me.”

Kimberly licked her lips. “I apologize for my attitude back then. I went overboard to make your parents sad because of that.”

"They understand your situation."

Kimberly wiped away her tears. “NJ said he would spend his summer with you. If you don't feel bothered, I ask you to…”

“Kim…” Nicholas wiped the woman's tears away. "Can we forget about that? I mean stop talking about it. I was really happy when you let NJ be with me for a while.”

Kimberly snorted lightly. "You broke your promise by divorcing Kate."

Nicholas exhaled. “Have you met his boyfriend? I hate that man.”

Kimberly laughed. "I'm glad you got your karma."

Nicholas chuckled lightly. "How about lunch?"
