Nicholas smiled faintly reading the message from Kate. Women become more talkative when they are friends than when they are Nicholas' wife. But Nicholas was relieved by that. They became closer than usual.

Messages from Kate are more stringent with lots of intimidating sentences. It seems she learned a lot from her boyfriend.
