Saanvi
Saanvi limped through the dark hallway, clutching her stomach with one hand and using the wall for support with the other. She stopped hearing the Devil’s cries of pain a little while ago and was both relived and guilty. She felt bad about hurting it but she also didn't.
The Devil had killed eight innocent people and it was going to kill her and Ryder next. But Saanvi also couldn’t stand to see anything in pain.
As she walked through the hallway, she thought, I’m sorry, but you made me.
Saanvi didn’t know how long she had been walking and her stomach was hurting more and more after each step. She needed to rest but there were no doors down this long hallway.
As Saanvi walked through the hallway, she thought, I must've turned the wrong way at the stairs. I'm sure the Devil didn't take me through this long hallway. Saanvi sighe. I should've went the other way... Too late now. I'm not going to go all the way back. I need to rest. Surely a hallway couldn't be this long and have no where to hide.
She hoped something would come up soon so she could rest. She couldn't rest out here right where the demons and Devil could find her.
If its still alive. I probably killed it, Saanvi thought.
The hallway Saanvi walked through had no windows so she couldn't tell if it was day or night. But her sleepy eyes told her that it was nightime. She could barely keep them open. She felt like she would collapse right there, on the floor and fall asleep.
Saanvi's head didn't stay up no matter how hard she tried. She needed to get somewhere quickly. She yawned loudly and closed her eyes.
She continued walkign but she had her eyes closed. It's ok if I have my eyes closed, Saanvi thought slowly in her head. I just need to rest my eyes. I won't fall asleep.
"I won't fall asleep," Saanvi mumbled as she slowly fell to the floor.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saanvi slowly lifted her head and looked around. She was laying on the floor with her arms spread out. She brought her arms close to her and lifted herself up into a sitting postion. She sat against the wall, slowly waking up as she realized what had happened.
I must have fallen asleep. Saanvi looked around the hallway. How long have I been asleep? Is it nightime or daytime?
Saanvi stretched and used the wall to push herself to her feet. She stood there for a second and looked toward the right and the left. Which way do I go? Which way was I going before?
After a minute of standing and thinking, she finally decided to right. She thought this was the way she was going before she fell asleep.
After that unexpected nap, Saanvi was fully awake. She was more alert and focused. She heard her quiet footsteps and something else. She stopped walking and listened closely.
Saanvi could barely hear it but it was there. A quite sound of clicking teeth. She listened more closely and could tell where the sound was coming from.
Saanvi held her breath as she slowly looked up at the ceiling. She gasped when she saw a demon hanging from the ceiling. Staring at her.
It was clicking its teeth together. It titled its head at her and blinked. Saanvi didn't know what to do. She was hurt and had no weapons. She was out in the open and vunerable.
The demon moved along the wall, trying to get above her. She didn't know what it was going to do and she didn't want to find out.
Saanvi never took her eyes off of the demon as she slowly took a step forward. The demon stopped moving and tilted its head again. It stopped clicking its teeth as it waited to see what she would do next.
Saanvi took another step. The demon growled and crawled toward her a few steps then stopped. She took a risk and looked in front of her. A little ahead of her, the hallway turned left. She knew that the demon would drop down and try to kill her any second.
Saanvi looked back up at the ceiling and saw the demon staring into her eyes. She took deep breaths as she was about to do something very risky and probabaly very stupid.
Suddenly, Saanvi sprinted toward the turn. The demon shrieked and crawled along the wall, following her. She came closer to the turn as she thought, Please be something there. Please be somewhere I can hide. I can't die like this.
Saanvi turned left with the hallway and smiled wide. There was a door a little farther up at the end of the hallway. She turned her head to see the demon crawling along the ceiling. It was still farther behind her and she would make it. She smiled even wider at her luck.
Saanvi turned her head to look back in front of her and screamed as a demon's claws swiped toward her face.
She covered her face with her arms and rolled underneath the demon's claws. The demon's claws scratched her arms a little. She rolled into a wall and groaned. Saanvi turned her head behind her and saw the demon that had scratched her slowly walking toward her. The other demon from the ceiling dropped down and followed the one in front of it.
Saanvi screamed and quickly crawled backward. She turned herself over and stood up and ran to the door. The demons shrieked and ran after her. The demon closest to her tried to reach for her ponytail but she ran faster, making it fall and roll over.
Saanvi was looking behind her at the demon who had toppled over when she slammed into the door. She fell backward onto her back. She got up and grabbed the doorknob. She opened it and stepped inside. Saanvi turned around to see the demon only a few feet away from the open door.
It ran toward her faster as she screamed and slammed the door. Before it could close all the way, the demon shoved its arm in between the gap. It shrieked as the door slammed onto its arm. It tried to grab her hand but she pushed the door harder to get it to close.
The demon soon took its arm out and Saanvi could fully close the door. Lucky for her, the door had a lock.
Saanvi locked the door and leaned against it, breathing deeply. The demons shrieked and banged on the door. She put her back against the door and slid down. She cried and pulled her knees to ehr chest. The demons continued to bang on the door but it wouldn't budge.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" Saanvi screamed but the bangs didn't decrease. She put her face in her hands and cried.
Ryder Ryder opened his eyes. He immediately closed again when a streak of blinding light hit his eye. Ryder groaned and opened them again, slower this time. He let his eyes adapt to the bright light. He turned his head to the left to see a bowl of water and a bloody towel on the nightstand. He turned his head to the right and saw the curtains pulled away from the window. Ryder sat up and winced at the pain from his ribcage. He looked in front of him and saw Luci coming out from the bathroom. He looked like he had just gotten out of a shower with a white towel around his waist as he used a smaller one to dry his hair. Ryder slowly got up and asked, "You took a shower?" "Yeah. Why? What is wrong?" Luci asked, walking over to him. "I just thought that we shouldn't do that. What if the demons heard us? Or worse... The Devil." "They're not allowed in here," Luci said, sitting on the enormous bed. "What?" Ryder said, staring at Luci. Luci paused a moment befo
Saanvi Saanvi sniffled and lifted herself off the floor. She turned around and looked at the door behind her. Bits of wood had fallen off when the demons had banged on the door. Saanvi didn’t realize they had stopped hitting the door until she stopped crying a little while ago. She didn’t want to open the door even after the banging stopped. She was too scared to step foot outside this room. She thought they might be out there. Waiting for her. Saanvi placed her hand on the doorknob. She kept it there for a while, not moving. She knew she couldn’t stay there forever. She had to leave at some point. Better now than later, she thought to herself. Saanvi turned the doorknob and slowly opened the door. It creaked quietly. She opened the door until she had a small gap so she could see the outside hallway. There was light from the windows that lit up the hallway. It’s already daytime? I wonder how long I’ve been in here. The room Saanvi was in didn’t have any windows

Ryder “Help me Ryder!” “I’m coming Saavi!” Ryder yelled as he ran through the hallways, trying to catch up to Saanvi. Two demons held Saanvi above their heads as they ran through the mansion, taking her with them. Saanvi struggled, but they had a strong grib on her. “Please help me!” She cried, looking at Ryder with tear filled eyes. Ryder ran as fast as he could but he started to slow down. He couldn’t keep up with them. “Don’t take her! Please!” Ryder yelled. The demons suddenly took a right turn. Ryder ran faster and realized that they had went down some stairs. He stopped before stepping down. He didn’t know what was down there. It was too dark to see. “Help me Ryder!” He heard Saanvi yell, and he didn’t dwell any longer. He ran down the stairs, towards Saanvi’s cries. He reached the bottom of the stairs and looked around. It was so dark that he couldn’t see anymore than two feet in front of him. “Saanvi! Where are you?!” Ryder yelled, tu
Saanvi Saanvi jogged through the hallway with thoughts running around her brain. She was overthinking her decision. What if I make it out of the mansion and find out he's not out already? What if I come back and it's too late? What if I don't leave and look for him? Is he safe and outside of the mansion? Is he hurt and in the mansion? What do I do?! Saanvi continued to run, not letting herself cry any longer. She had wasted too much time already. She needed to get out of here and see if Ryder was out. She ran for a little while longer until she had to take a break. She leaned her back against the wall behind her and put her hands on her head. She took deep breaths. Saanvi kept her hands above her head as she started to walk. She looked to her left and noticed the staircase that led downstairs. Whew. I'm not that far now, Saanvi thought, smiling. She took a few more deep breaths and continued to jog at a good pace. She finally made
Ryder “What about weapons?” Ryder asked as he took of his hoodies, leaving the shirt on. “What about them?” Luci asked as he changed into a black muscle shirt with full sleeves. The shirt was tight showing his muscles through the shirt. He pulled on black cargo jeans as well. Ryder looked at him and said, “Well, don’t we need weapons to protect ourselves from the demons. You should have some since you have stayed here for so long. Surely you had to fight some demons along the way, right?” Luci turned to Ryder and said, “Why would I fight my- I mean, of course I fought m- the demons. Let me go get some weapons. Give me a minute.” Luci walked past Ryder and suddenly froze. Ryder turned to look at him and asked, “Hey, Luci. You alright?” Luci didn’t respond so he poked him. Luci still didn’t respond. “Hey Luc-” Ryder was interrupted when Luci spoke in a demonic voice. He said something in a foriegn language. It sounded like the same language that he heard in h
Saanvi Saanvi and Justice ran out of the kitchen. Saanvi tried to run to the right toward the door but a demon came out of a room next to the kitchen. The demon that came out of the room blocked their way. Justice tugged on Saanvi’s arm, pulling her to the left through the hallway. There were no windows along the hallways. It was narrow with doors on their right and left but they didn’t go into any of them because the demons would see and follow them. Justice pulled Saanvi behind her as the demons chased behind them. Saanvi turned to see the demon from the room running on two feet. The other two demon that had followed the order of the taller demon were running on all fours behind the demon from the room. Saanvi couldn’t see the taller demon. Suddenly the demon that was running on two feet tried to pounce on Saanvi. She screamed. When it missed, it growled and ran on all fours like the other two demons behind it. That’s when Saanvi saw the taller demon. It was
Ryder Ryder twisted and turned on the couch. His ribs ached. He was only able to sleep for what seemed like a few minutes. He sat up and groaned at the pain shooting throughout his torso. Ryder looked at the bookshelves full of books. Saanvi would love this place. She always reads in her free time. Ryder sighed and put his head in his hands. She should be here. With me. Safe. Not scared like she probably is right now… If she’s still alive, one part of him thought. Saanvi is alive! Don’t think like that! She’s probably just scared. Or dead. She could be dead. No! I won’t accept that! She’s alive! How would you know? Ryder paused. He tried to find an answer. He tried to find a reason she could be alive. She’s strong. She wouldn’t give up easily, Ryder concluded. He didn’t want to continue the battle in his head. He didn’t want to think that she could be dead. She could’ve died a while ago. No! She could’ve died r
