Forgotten

Zak propped up his chin and glanced at her. She held her coat, no longer peeling fruit for her or sneaking sips of her milk, keeping a distance of half a meter, is she sulking? This was Daphne's first time sulking at her. How should one describe it? Spoiled and arrogant?

Zak was quite curious. How long could she stay angry? In the end, wouldn't she still come to break the ice with her?

Zak found it amusing.

Suddenly, a loud knocking interrupted the moment of tranquility.

"Zak! Zak, come out, Zak! Um... open the door for me!"

"Zak, you jerk..."

Despite the soundproofing being so good, the drunken voice behind the door could still be heard. Zak could tell who it was, feeling irritated, he clicked his tongue impatiently. Daphne got up first to open the door.

The person outside the door was Cora, and Zak remembered Daphne's hostility towards Cora that day.

She pretended to be Cora's girlfriend, and now Cora was coming to find her in the middle of the night. Would Daphne misunderstand?
