The sweat

The next morning, Daphne had completely recovered from the fever. Zak had been tired for a long time, and now she felt relieved, going back to her room to rest, almost falling asleep as soon as she lay down.

She sat on the windowsill alone, browsing her phone, and Zak couldn't see what was on her phone.

Zak's breathing became heavy.
