Everyone once again quieted down and even held their breath, feeling lost.

No one moved. Instead, they all looked at each other in confusion. Eventually, their eyes involuntarily fell on Marten.

The reason they dared to confront Miranda before primarily came down to two reasons.

One was that she was just the acting leader, and no one knew if she would be made the official leader.

Two was that even though she had the powerful Thunderous God of War backing her, even Remus could not act recklessly within the Dragon Team. There were rules to follow, and it was impossible to disregard them completely.
