Chapter 30

Kevin rubbed his eyes, unable to believe what he was seeing. It seemed absurd and confusing. Then, he realized the paper with his account number had passed into Marco's hands. That meant Marco had taken it quickly as he squeezed it in confusion.

Especially now, it was clearly written on Marco's cell phone that the man had sent seven million dollars directly into his account. So, Kevin quickly checked into his cell phone and assumed it was because the amount had actually entered his bank account.

"How did this happen?" muttered Kevin weakly.

Marco put his phone back in his pocket and said, "The money is my drawing. So I'd better not sell this building because its price is low and far from the market."

Marco then sat down quietly and handed Kevin's account number to the bottom of the stack of books. "Besides, why would you sell the building if you already have the money? You can use that money for renovation costs. And as for your son's surgery, you don't have to think about it anymore
