One of the men with a baseball cap on his head then chimed in, "Maybe, when he was young, he never got to experience fun like us. That's why he's acting like that now. I bet he doesn't have any friends." He smiled wryly, waiting for Marco to turn around and scold him. That would be fun because he could make fun of Marco further.

It was not a mere accusation. Marco did not have any friends when he was their age. He was too busy earning money to survive. There was no time for fun and vacations like them. But that didn't mean he was jealous and targeted young people like them for his disappointment. Marco was an adult. His mind was already wide open.

In the end, Marco ignored them all and let them chatter away as they pleased. It was pointless and unnecessary to deal with young people who could not be advised nicely. They would only become more ignorant and talk strangely.
