Joaquin didn’t waste a second. When he was sure Jasmine was stable and in good hands, he left the hospital and drove straight to Mr. Suarez’s estate. His mind was a storm — thoughts of his sister, the terrifying vision of her soul being dragged away by that dark smoke, and the name George Beckham kept colliding inside his head.
