Chapter 5: Captured

Luna and Hannah also wanted to laugh, but in their current state, they didn't dare to make a sound. To avoid detection by the robot, Luna moved the skateboard to face Hannah. Luna nodded slightly, Hannah understood the shouting:

"Hey, I'm here."

Hannah spoke while walking into the territory of the research headquarters. With just two steps, all the robots focused their attention on Hannah. Having ten seconds of intrusion warning, Luna took the opportunity to throw a non-luminous rope at Jack, pulling him outside. At the same time, Hannah also withdrew from the penalty area of the headquarters.

Jack's shirt was torn due to being pulled by Luna, his whole body did not show any muscle, only seeing him as thin and boneless.

Looking at Jack, Luna and Hannah couldn't help but laugh. He covered his chest with his hand, showing a shy expression.

"Pervert, what are you looking at?"

Hannah however didn't mind, she patted Jack's shoulder. He was startled, his head still aching. Not wanting to quarrel with Hannah out of habit, Jack pressed the ring in his hand. The phone screen popped up, Jack called the clothing store.

"Hi, I need a handsome suit to come in front of the scientific research headquarters." Jack raised his voice.

The other end of the line spoke, and the robot's pre-programmed voice sounded:

[Hello customers, clothes will be available very soon.]

They don't need to ask for information to know what size and color Jack wears. Because specialized stores know their customers' monthly information, Jack is no exception. Less than two minutes, from afar comes a delivery robot. In his hand, he carried a black and blue vest that had been ironed straight from ever.

Jack was pleased to receive it and thanked him. Without waiting for Hannah to ask, Luna asked in surprise first:

"Go take a look, do you need to dress up, be so polite?"

Jack went over to the hidden wall to change his clothes. When he came out, he looked very energetic and still in good shape. The young man stroked his hair, a movement very similar to John in the morning, all self-praise. But no one noticed that, the other two only noticed Jack's weirdness. Who would go on a sneak peek, break into the research headquarters, and dress like that? Hannah replied firmly that it could only be Jack.

"No matter where you go, you do have to be beautiful, I'm the king of fashion." Jack exaggerated, showing himself and the suit he was wearing.

"Fewer illusions, it's very virtual." Hannah threw a bucket of cold water on his head. Jack's bubbly smile disappeared. He was annoyed and said:

"Aren't you going to tell me that you're dead?"

"Must to." Hannah did not hesitate to speak. He may not know it, but picking fights with Jack is what Hannah likes best.

"Come on, come on, we should find a way to watch the spaceship launch again instead of arguing," Luna said, she's always been the calmest person here.

Jack cocked his chin and replied:

"Because of Luna, I won't argue with you."

"I guess I'd like to fight with you." Hannah countered.

They were going to continue arguing, but that intention was interrupted by a loud voice.

"We are detecting two sources of unauthorized entry into the headquarters. Warning to anyone in this area, immediately leave, in a minute the security robot will start acting. Those who have intentions. quickly surrender, or we will not hold back."

The three of them looked at each other, uneasy. Turns out they were discovered.

"Run away," Jack shouted.

Luna, Hannah, and Jack ran away, and when they turned around, they saw nearly a hundred robots holding weapons in their hands. The three of them hid in the distance and looked back.

"There's no need to do so much just breaking in?" Hannah grumbled uncomfortably.

It is wrong for them to do so, but with their naive youth, they do not like to accept the wrong part of themselves. The other two were also silent, not refuting Hannah.

The robots rolled their wheels out of the HQ. They opened their piercing eyes, constantly searching.

At this moment, Jack's phone rang. He saw John's number and picked up the phone to listen, his voice extremely arrogant:

"Hello, is something wrong?"

"Are you the ones being tracked down by headquarters?" John asked sternly.

"Um… yes, it's these guys." Jack hesitated a bit, but for the sake of their face, he tried to keep his mouth shut.

John was angry, but because of his friendship, he still helped them out, John said:

"There are two sources of intrusion, the first force is you, and the second force is still unknown. So, you just need to tell the truth, don't make excuses or say anything else. Remember, tell the truth. If You guys did something wrong, I can't guarantee we'll see each other again."

After saying that John hung up the phone, the speakerphone was quite loud so Hannah and Luna heard everything. The three of them frowned at each other, and feelings of insecurity and fear appeared. Unknowingly, the beam of light shone on them from somewhere, and the robot's penetrating eyes had rays of light shining on the three of them. Jack, Luna, and Hannah hold hands, have fast speed, and have good coordination. Looking at them, they looked very united, far from usual. Hannah ran as she opened her portable shield. Thanks to that, they avoid the burning heat of the light rays when it shines on.

The robots behind chased them and flew up. Very quickly, their programming speed was almost catching up with three people.

Next, a large unmanned aerial vehicle blocked the front. The three of them had no way to escape, the three of them panting, raised their hands in surrender. The robots came to control them, their strength made Hannah scream in pain. Jack was no longer interested in teasing Hannah either. He shook his head, frustrated as a loser.

"Nonsense caught. My dad's going to hang me upside down from a tree." Jack lamented.

"It's not just you, I'm afraid the three of us will all have to end up together," Luna replied.

[Intruder has been captured.]
