Whistle

Cara crunched outside the main building in the position that was given to her. Her chest was pounding as she observed the movements of the guards. She could not shake off the feeling that something terrible was going to happen. It was a dark night, and the moonlight did not seem to do much for the sight.

That allowed her to stay perfectly hidden amidst the shadows, but she did not know for how long she would stay there. She saw a guard walking towards the direction of the house and she nearly blew the whistle, but when he stopped, turned around like he forgot something, and dashed out of the scene, Cara heaved a sigh of relief.

If she blew the whistle, a lot of guards would come for her. She knew that. She knew she had to be quick when it came to escaping for if she even delays, she would be caught and treated roughly. She did not fear death, at least not so much. She had the Phoenix did she not?
