There was no way August could look at his wristwatch since his hands were tied behind the chair. “What says your time,” he asked ignorantly, gesturing at the men.

“Why are you asking for time now? Just a matter of minutes before you are dead, they don’t use Time in the land of the death,” one of them ridiculed and they elicited into laughter.

“It’s wrong to turn down a denying man’s request, so I’ll tell you what the time is,” one of the men said mockingly before staring at his wrist. “It is some minutes to 3:00PM”.

August’s countenance changed, putting on a more serious face he said slowly: “Enough of the play boys. You should untie me now, I have a meeting to attend and I’m already running late”.

The men exchanged glances and burst into an an unending laughter, they laughed disdainfully till their guts almost came out through their mouths.
