The Lying Nurse

Mrs. Doe was perplexed, darting her eyes between the nurse and August. August himself was equally stunned by the nurse's accusations.

He hadn’t even seen Tina for days, and her mother had just called to inform him she was missing. Upon arriving at the hospital, the nurse quickly accused him of taking Tina away earlier.

Was the nurse mistaking August for Jonathan, or was there more to her accusations?

"Are you certain he's the one?" Mrs. Doe asked, her brows knitted in confusion. "You should take a closer look at him. You must have gotten it all confused; maybe the person just had a striking resemblance to him."

“I’m not confused," the nurse said firmly, her expression stern. "I’m certain it’s him. He may have changed out of the black suit he was wearing, but I can still tell. I’d swear on my life that he’s the one who took Tina”.
