The Store Owner

Boris led the way and the group followed from behind across the street to the store, confidence surging in all of them. Boris walked straight up to the two security guards standing at the store’s entrance.

“Hey you!” He called gesturing at the guards. “I want to see who is in charge, right now!” he instructed with a frown.

The security men gestured at him and the group behind him puzzled. “Who are you? And why do you bring this mob with you looking for who is in charge?” One of the security men asked.

Without hesitation, Boris walked up to him and slapped him across the face. “How dare you talk back at me? Go in and bring whoever is in charge, right now! If you demand on knowing who I’m it may be the last thing your ears will have to hear,” he spat coldly, his eyes a mixture of intimidation and threats.
