Chapter 29. Greed.

I dragged my legs through without any idea of where we were headed. If I dared to even stop moving I would be pushed from behind by one of the guards, all the while only one thought was on my mind.

“If only I could discover more.”

I hated it, how short I was on time, I had come to the point where I was hopeless, how exactly did he want me to save my classmates when I had little to no time?

The scene of piled-up bodies certainly wasn't something I would have liked to see again.

Suddenly something inside me clicked.
