“You and Abraham Connor are weirdly in sync,” Camila whispered to Keith as she dragged her eyes away from Abraham.

Keith scrunched his face, “Must be your imagination or something, why are you staring at him anyway?”

Camila rolled her eyes at the hint of jealousy she heard in his voice, “I am helping you keep an eye on the enemy_,’’

“He is not my enemy,” Keith said earnestly.

Camila looked at him with a frown, and an expectant look on her face as if expecting Keith to crack into a smile and tell her he was just kidding. “Oh, and so he is a friend then?”

Keith shook his head, “Nope, not a friend either.”

Camila scoffed, “Whoever isn't a friend is an enemy then.”

Keith shook his head once more and a small mocking smile, “No, Cherry that is not how it works. Whoever is not a friend is not an enemy either, he or she is just nothing.”
