“Okay mum, I'm done listing the things I know you'll need for your business since you'll be starting at home,” Sheila said, writing some things down in a book.

“Is that so?” Mrs Hockings asked, joining her daughter at the table.

“Of course. It's your first business and I simply want to support you in whatever you're doing,” Sheila said as her mother smiled at her.

“That's really sweet of you. Thank you,” Mrs Hockings said as Sheila waved her off.

“It's nothing mum. I'm happy just doing this for you,” Sheila said as Mr Hockings snorted. She turned to her dad. “Was that a snort?” She asked, folding her hands.

“Pardon me if it sounded offensive,” Mr Hockings said sarcastically.

“No, don't stop on my account. Please, go ahead and speak your mind,” Sheila said as Mrs Hockings placed her hand on her forehead. She knew a quarrel was brewing between the father and daughter.
