Chapter 364

Mrs Hockings actually took her husband's word into consideration. She woke up so early in the morning, printing out fliers for her new business. Mr Hockings came downstairs, seeing her so busy counting cupcakes that were on the table.

“You really mean this, don't you?” He asked as she nodded.

“I need to get this right. I baked some cupcakes which I could use for samples. I just hope it goes well,” Mrs Hockings said as Sheila entered, carrying baskets.

“Good morning. I bought groceries,” she said, entering the kitchen and placing it on the counter.

“You shouldn't have. We are okay,” Mrs Hockings said as Sheila rolled her eyes.

“Don't worry about it, mother. You have my word that none of these things were bought with Abraham's money. They are my money,” she said, turning to her father. “I'll be taking my leave now, dad,” she said when her mother held her hand.

“What is it, Sheila? You’ve been avoiding me and not picking up my calls. Did I do anything wrong?” Mrs Hockings asked as Sheila
