Chapter Thirty Five

Soft rays of morning light were beaming across Keith's closed eyes. But he did not want to wake up, instead, he snuggled closer to the warmth of his bed. His arm reached up to soothe the fallen pieces of hair away from his face. He really hadn't planned to wake up this early but the loud blasting sounds from his phone were making him rethink that.

Who could be calling this early, Keith thought with a mumbled grunt. He made an odd noise at the back of his throat and snuggled closer into his pillow, his eyes snapped open and he waited patiently for his mind to clear of its grogginess but he didn't have that liberty as his blasted phone began ringing again. Finally forcing his mind out of the groggy state he rolled off his bed and moved to pick up his phone from where it was vibrating against the nightstand.

All sleepiness cleared from his mind when he saw that it was Mr. Kevin, who was calling, he sat up straight and immediately picked up the call, “Mr. Kevin,” he said, his voice eviden
