Being with Archer felt like being suspended in a fairy tale, and I desperately wished it would never end. As I sat on the bed, Archer lay beside me, his strong arm wrapped around my waist. Gently, I tore open the gift he had given me, pausing to admire his peaceful sleeping face. His soft breathing indicated that he was in a deep slumber.

We had returned to the cabin around 2 a.m., and Archer had kept me awake until dawn. I loved how he made me feel like he couldn't get enough of me, cherishing and desiring me. Raising my hand, I caressed his eyebrows with the pad of my fingers, adoring him with my eyes. For some reason, tears welled up in my eyes. I didn't know how to walk away after our time together had passed. With a sigh, I refocused my attention on the gift pack and continued opening it.

To my surprise, it wasn't just one gift but a collection of gifts, all practical items for starting a new life in the corporate world. There was a top-of-the-line laptop, tucked in a brown leath

Sipping his drink, he met my gaze, his eyes dark and burning with desire. Coupled with the fact that he was wearing nothing but boxers, displaying his perfectly toned body, it was a lethal combination. I had never attempted to seduce a man before. He was my first in many ways, and he had taught me everything I knew about my own sexuality. But with him, I felt completely at ease. That was one of the things I noticed he enjoyed about me—my authenticity.Maintaining eye contact with him, I slowly reached for the hem of my shirt, gradually pulling it off. I could hear his breath hitch, and his jaw worked as he devoured my naked form with his eyes. The next item to go was my bra top. As I removed it, I stood completely bare in front of him. There were aspects of my body that I hadn't paid much attention to before, but now, I knew exactly how I looked naked in his presence. My breasts were a D cup, my waist was slender, my hips were well-proportioned to my upper body, and my backside had th

Doctor Eliza and Doctor Ivy informed me that I had been discharged from the hospital three days ago, but they advised me to stay back since I had nowhere else to go and their police friend, Trevor, hadn't found any information about me yet. They also suggested that the children I saw might be my own and that I could have a family somewhere. However, I didn't feel like I had kids. Besides, if I had a wife and children, Trevor should have found something about me being missing in the police records.I couldn't help but notice that Doctor Eliza seemed a bit dejected by the idea of me having a family. A smile crept onto my lips at the thought that her interest might have extended beyond professional boundaries. I wondered how she had resolved the issues with her boyfriend, but every time I asked, she would just smile and say it had been handled. Although I couldn't pry the details out of her, I remained attentive, watching for any signs of abuse. It was one of the reasons I pushed myself

"Hmm…" Doctor Eliza mumbled, holding my gaze. "Looks like you've put some thought into this. And in case he does show up, the sheriff and our favorite neighborhood cop will be there. So I suppose we can all protect you," she said. I nodded, appreciating her support. "You are going to need a suit," she added, trailing her eyes down my front."Great, we're close to the mall. Let's hope there's still a suit shop open at this time of the year," I suggested. She nodded with a smile. "I know someone who might still be open for last-minute shopping," she said.Sometime later, I found myself smartly dressed in a blue-black fitted suit that looked like it was tailored specifically for me. When Doctor Eliza tried to pay for the suit, I counted the cash and paid the woman myself. I could see the surprise on Doctor Eliza's face, but she didn't say anything until we were back in her car."I'm sorry if this sounds intrusive, but how did you get the cash to pay for the suit?" she asked curiously."F

"What the hell?!" I heard the idiot exclaim. It took every ounce of control in me to draw back from Doctor Eliza. We were both breathing hard by the time we stopped. "Mark?" she whispered, her voice filled with surprise and evident hunger."Yes, love, I think it's time you let Mr. Justin… Godino knows that you are already engaged," I replied, struggling to recall his last name."Engaged?!" she exclaimed softly, clearly bewildered by the turn of events. But then understanding quickly dawned. I swiftly interlocked my fingers with hers, preventing Justin from noticing her bare ring finger. "Sorry," she said, flashing a big smile. "I'm already taken," she added. I gave her a knowing wink as we held hands, keeping up the facade."What?!" Justin repeated, clearly shocked by the sudden revelation."Mum, Dad!" Doctor Eliza called out to her parents, who were observing the unfolding drama with a perplexed expression. She pulled me along as we made our way towards them. However, before we r

I chuckled and wrapped an arm around her small waist."Is there a bathroom here?" I inquired."Yes," she whispered. I proceeded to remove the rest of my clothes, relishing the adoring look in her eyes as she watched me. I then lifted her up and carried her to the bathroom, her arms wrapped around my neck as she kissed me again."Would your parents wonder where you've disappeared to?" I asked."I made a dutiful appearance, although I nearly caused a scene..." she replied."Then we won't be missed for a few more minutes," I suggested, guiding her to sit on the toilet bowl. With her legs spread wide, I knelt in front of her, reaching for the bidet sprayer and bringing it to her parted knees. I proceeded to clean her up, flushing away any remnants of our lovemaking. The air was heavy and damp, making me feel confined and disoriented. Before I could fully grasp my surroundings, the memory of the car explosion flooded my mind like a violent wave. I saw it again—the moment I intercepted Adele's getaway car, her tossing a makeshift explosive against our windscreen, and the ensuing chaos. The explosion had been so sudden, that fire and shards of glass blasted towards me. Instinctively, I raised my arms to shield my face, feeling the searing heat and pain on the back of my forearms. The side of my face and chest were also slightly burnt from the blast, and the pain lingered as I woke up panting. I could still feel the shock of the explosion reverberating through me, and my breaths came in ragged gasps. But my disorientation was short-lived as I notic

"What the hell is wrong with you? Calling the cops to intercept the DEA?!" Victor Donovan growled at me as soon as he laid eyes on me."They are not real DEA, Mr. Donovan," the head of the precinct spoke up, and my father gave him a single glance, which silenced the older man. Paul Anderson was not a stranger to my father; he had been on his payroll since the day he joined the force. Many law enforcement officers were in his pocket, but my father preferred not to get caught, maintaining a squeaky-clean record for years."They are not real DEA, you say?" Victor Donovan repeated, seemingly unconvinced."They are, Dad. What Paul meant was that they weren't working for the government in this case. They came after Adele, and planted coke in the car, but it is my car. I am responsible," I explained, trying to clarify the situation."Who are they? Who are they working for?"
