It could only stop and pace back and forth in front of the monument, releasing an angry roar that sent shockwaves rippling through the sky. Then it dashed back into the forest again.
As Cyrus ran along the path leading deeper into the valley beside the stone monument, he didn't notice a transparent light barrier that rippled slightly before vanishing.
Before long, he realized he had arrived in a different place. This location felt secluded and seemed completely cut off from the rest of the world.
Looking at the scene in front of him, Cyrus couldn't react for a long time.
