As the nurse attended to Jeff, Billy stood at one side, worry etched on his face.

Jeff remained indifferent, his gaze fixed on a distant point.

With caution, the nurse cleaned Jeff's cheek wound.

Following a comprehensive assessment, she gave Jeff the reassurance that the injury was not too severe and would heal within a few days.

Jeff gave a nod, causing her cheeks to slightly flush. Jeff gave her a sly smile, sensing her embarrassment, and she quickly moved on to her next patient.

Billy's concern deepened as he observed Jeff's lack of reaction to his injury.

Billy leaned against the wall, pondering for a moment before he asked the question that had been bothering him. "Do you know who attacked me?" he asked, a hint of curiosity mixed with fear in his voice.

Jeff's indifferent gaze shifted to his friend, his brow furrowing slightly. After a brief pause, he responded, "No, Billy, I don't. But you do. Tell me who that person is."
