THE reporters were twice as shocked after hearing Damian’s revelation. Damian smirked because he knew that Carter would also feel the same thing.

Damian nodded, smiling. He took a deep breath before telling everyone about his past.

“Before, I had a huge scar on my back. It was horrible. Even my father was shocked, and he cried after seeing it.”

He laughed sadly, remembering the first time he met Veron. “I couldn’t remember anything about it, but recently, I remembered my past. My back was intentionally burned with a gas lighter.”
